platonic friends-----another way to tell the other that you can be seen with me in public, but not in private...I once had a woman who wanted that. so, I went on and moved on...she caught wind I was dating someone and proceeded to chew me out in a fit of jealousy. When I reminded her of what she said to me, she quickly realized this and still threw a drink in my face...some people like the idea of being able to question the friendship of others, but cannot handle their jealousy.
