The way I think about it Tim is people that buy P & S cameras are not expecting to achieve the same results as someone that has a DSLR and if they are then they don't deserve to have a camera in their hands. Maybe I'm naive but I'm basing it on my own experience. I used to be into slr's. Normally I would have gone out with 3 hanging off my neck and a bag chuck full of lens. When I bought my first P & S I sure as hell didn't expect the same results but I did get a couple of damn nice shots. I suppose I was just lucky.

btw... there are some really, really fast Honda's out there. :D

Hey Prick... I'm on the verge of going to town and buying my new lens tonight. Can you tell me if a Kodak lens would work on my Canon or do I gotta buy a whole new setup? Or.............. should I take up model railroads. I've done fucking near everything else and that's all I got left.

Exactly, that's all I am saying.

Good camera does not equal good pictures. I am fully aware of that...

But even a great photographer with a crap camera will have a very difficult time getting a technically quality picture. Great composition yes, but that's only part of the battle.



And in no way did I mean to get your panties in a twist over this. :D

I haven't bought it yet. It's foggy as hell here and I have the next 4 days off so I can wait until it lifts. As far as fitting. Well Canon's site says the lens will fit my camera body. Do you suppose they could be bullshitting me?
