am I the only one that uses toenail clippers instead of fingernail clippers to trim my cuticles? Fingernail clippers are way too small for my dexterity.

I don't trim my cuticles. I push them back regularly. if I have some dry skin around the nail I use a special tool specifically for that... a remnant of my nail technician days :24:
I use all tools as they are designed. Fingernail clippers for fingers. Toenail clippers for toes.
they're designed the same... one's just a bigger version of the other :24::24: Fingernails and toenails are the same thing, made of the same substance just on different ends of the body. I'm not scratching my butt with them.

My eyesight being what it is I might cut off a finger.

I use cuticle nippers to trim any excess cuticle hanging after pushing them back, but I generally don't cut them unless they catch on things. Cutting them, or callous, will promote them to grow back thicker.
I use toenail clippers on my fingernails because I can't get fingernail clippers to clip them. Even with the bigger ones I sometimes have to make a fist and really squeeze to get them to close

What? You were only cutting nail? Not cuticle?
"Yes" works well to, assuming to were reffering to the circled part, "free edge" is the term for that area of nail

Ok, well for the free edge I usually end up using baby nail clippers because I can never find where hubby has stashed the grown up ones :24:
