Silent Night

There's a hot fire going in the woodburner. I've just finished a cup of hot chocolate in a mug decorated with reindeer. Very festive.

I've eaten about 3 cookies too many, but am still eying the trays laden with them and other Christmas goodies. Some I've made myself.... others were gifts that I collected on my adventures today visiting family and friends.

All in all, it was a pleasant day/evening. I'm thankful that everyone I've visited and/or called are well this Christmas Eve.
 
Some days I feel the same way. A pin so damn big that you'd swear everyone around could hear it too.

..... but then the phone doesn't ring.... the doorbell is quiet.... the dog doesn't stir due to lack of noises outside....

*sigh*
 
It was plenty noisy the whole day long. All the homes I invaded with gifts and cheer sharing. (Say cheer sharing five times really really fast! ;) )

Now it's just the hubster and me and he's watching a movie and munching on baked treats whilst I sit here at the computer desk and..... well.... visit with all of you here. My OTz Buds. :)
