I wouldn't want to serve anywhere, let alone in an armpit of a country like Afghanistan or Pakistan. If some country attacked the U.S. and actually posed a threat to me and my family I'd join the military, but I'm not going to risk my own life for some conflict I don't believe in in a country I don't give a rat's ass about.

My thoughts on it are that just because I don't like people doesn't mean I want them all to die, just because I'm fascinated by war doesn't mean I want to enlist to fight a battle that shouldn't be going on, and While I don't wish bad things on innocent people I won't get bent out of shape about it when it happens because there's not a thing I can do to change it, if I could bring about world peace I would, but I can't and I'm not going to spend time worrying about things I can't help :dunno

i will apologize for getting a little to harsh with you about this. i've currently got a nazi troll hounding me on another forum bemoaning the fact that hitler didn't kill my whole family, so i'm a little extra testy right now.

I realize that things I say may be offensive, and honestly I don't care. I'm not going out of my way to be offensive, nor will I go out of my way not to be offensive, People should either learn to ignore those who offend them or learn to stop being offended so easily :dunno

offensive people need to learn to take criticism more graciously.

when i was young, i had the same attitude: fuck you if you can't take a joke.

over the years, the thrill of shocking people wasn't enough to justify the shit i had to take for doing it. now, since a lot of my income depends on being presentable to parents of small children, it's become such that i save my outre' behavior for people that appreciate that kind of shit.

forums like these can be difficult for a clown. there are times to be serious -- the authors and participants in serious conversations should be respected. if you don't respect the sensibilities of others you can't expect others to ever respect yours.

if you get punched out for talking shit, it's not because the other person is an immature lowlife, it's because your behavior caused him to snap.

I'm not trying to shock anyone, I simply post my opinions, if someone is shocked at or can't handle those opinions it's their problem, those people are irrelevant to me and I won't censor myself for their sake. If I disrespect a person to their face and get myself beat up for it(people have tried before) I don't cry about it or call the police or expect anyone to feel sorry for me, you assume the risk when you choose to engage in an argument.

something about viewing other people as irrelevant doesn't sit well with me, particularly in a thread discussing genocide.

why should anybody even be interested in your opinion if you have no interest in theirs? it's particularly disturbing to think that someone might even be in favor of killing off those people because they were technologically inferior or of another religion or something.
