I have never met anyone who did not know what kudos meant.....lolplease forgive my dumbassness, but wtf is a kudo? sounds like something you clean out of a catbox or pick up after your dog drops one on the sidewalk.
Freeze warning tonight

I kept seeing white on the side of the road, and thought since they had been presalting the roads, that's what it was. Saw some in a parking lot, so I poked it with my toe.
It's the damned cold white stuff. :mad I'm sleeping in too late to see it actually falling, apparently. The bagger at the commissary said it was coming down this AM. But it looks like it's starting to stick! It hasn't actually been forecast, but there's supposed to be some coming the day before Matt's mom flies in. I'm getting nervous. That's the same day it all started last year.

I work @ 2 FD's, 1 about 20 miles north of Bham, the other in Bham. Last night we had a call from a young girl
her grandmother had no heat. (it was in the teens here) Her granddaughter had no way of taking care of her. All we could do was take her to a shelter and she was NOT having that. She was in bad shape. But, she was to proud I guess, to go to a shelter. We talked her into staying at a Holiday INN for the next week. (We all pooled our cash together and paid for it.) I hate to brag but that makes a man feel good

Freezing Rain Advisory now. I am not sure if I am going to be able to handle winter when it gets here.
Supposed to chuck it down with rain all day tomorrow and then at night the big freeze will start with snow to follow for the next couple of days at least.
