Starting to think

I am being taken advantage of at work.

When i was hired it was for 4 days a week and each week i do 6 im sick of working on a saturday and only having 1 day off before i have to go back to work again.

I really DONT want to be here today and im ready to burst a vessel at this woman! :mad

When I did part time my availability was all but Wednesday. When they scheduled me on Wed, I went in ASAP and said, not kosher, I'm not available, fix it. And they would, no questions asked.

Can you put something in writing say you are unable to work such and such hours?

When I worked retail they tried pulling that garbage on me. I explicitly told them my availability when hired, and they would once in a while try to schedule me at outrageous hours when they knew I wasn't available. I did the same and marched to the incompetent management and told them I couldn't work the hours. It caused friction a few times, but eventually they got the message.

Obviously, retail is a different world though.

I recently had a mix up with shifts at work. Someone asked me on Saturday if I could swap shifts. They wanted my Thursday shift (yesterday) and for me to do their Saturday one (coming up). I said yes at first, but then I found out that I had the weekend off this week, so I quickly rang back and changed my mind. I said I could NOT do the Saturday shift, so I would do my usual Wednesday and Thursday. Somehow along the stupid line of communication, someone thought I said I couldn't do Thursday AS WELL. Fucking Chinese whispers. It was probably the girl who I originally was gunna swap with, trying to get fucking shifts. Anyway, someone stuffed up, not my problem.
