The word wog is thrown around a lot here, Italians and Maltese here proudly call themselves wogs all the time. Sorry if it's offensive, but it's like, normal here...

Ahh I see. My mum reckons that my father was a moody/violent one even when dating. Man if I was ever with someone like that I would be out the door as soon as it occurred.

They always say that, then when they are actually married to a guy they make up excuses why they should stay.
