Facebookers?

Well I fell into the 7% apparently who doesn't follow everyone else and I just do my own thing. I didn't change my pic on there and quite a lot of my friends didn't. Does that mean that I don't want to raise awareness? No. It just means that I don't follow the flock that crosses my path. If i want to raise awareness for something I join an organization and participate that way. I am a member of a few organizations that I choose to raise awareness for in RL. FB isn't real life. It's a social network on the internet. Sure they have causes on there and if I saw a cause to raise awareness on child abuse I would join it if it was in my area and I could attend and help fight for the cause. But to change a pic on FB just doesn't cut it for me as doing much of anything to help. *shrugs*

And tard was short for fucktard which I see on here every so often...

:smiley24::shrug: i couldve very well been mentally challenged and i still use it.

"Could have been" and "are" are two very different ideas. I'm sure you wouldn't feel the same way if you actually had a mental handicap. My brother's on the low-end of the spectrum and he's incredibly sensitive about the terms used to describe his disability.

fyi...A fucktard and a retard are 2 seperate things....I don't use the word retard because I find that as being wrong.

Nuh uh can't make me

Wow, that's so incredibly mature. Would you like it if people started going around using your disability as a derogatory term? Of course you'll just say it wouldn't bother you, in order to further your point. Or what if people said to posters here that were acting stupid that they were being "dana"?

Screw your political correctness and claiming my intelligence is diminished by certain words I choose to use.
