that shit about the weight lifting is crap. i'm a musician, walk a lot and blow a lot of hot air through cold horns. it's only since an illness last winter that my weight ever went over 200 and some circumstances this year that have made it a little more difficult to cut weight than ever before, but i never had to pump iron like some freekin' brainless jock on steroids to do it.
careful diet and staying active is plenty. too much time on the couch with zoo-zoos and wham-whams is easy to beat if you can tear yourself away from the tube and eat some carrots instead of twinkies for a while.
hell, trade in the vidiocy for a honey and do the horizontal cha-cha on that couch a few times a day beats the crap out of weight-lifting.

like heavy thought, i don't like to do heavy lifting unless i'm getting paid and i never run unless i'm being chased or need to get out of the way of a moving vehicle in a hurry.
