Iron bowl??? That's football? :D

Iron Bowl name was used because for decades the game between Auburn & Alabama was played in Birmingham, Alabama which is the steel city of the South.

Crimson Tide? Seriously?:24::ninja

The name was coined by an opposing coach close to a hundred years ago. He was describing all the big players from the University of Alabama storming the field in their red uniforms. The name stuck. (Although it does sound like one week of the month for a lot of females.)

I am crying

Me too, tears of joy for a great comeback.:thumbup
