Argh.... It's snooooooooooooooowing

*bawls hysterically throwing a tantrum stomping his feet and flailing his arms*

you have got to be the first griping weather wimp i've ever seen get that wound up about a little snow.

i left the house yesterday afternoon to go work in 80 degree weather and a cold front blew through, dropping the temp to the mid-50's shortly after sunset and colder by the time i got home near midnight.

all i had was a tee shirt on and a light button-down shirt and my shell in my backback. too cold to be comfortable without at least a thermal undershirt under the shell.

did i complain?

nuh-uh. went and found a friend who kicked me down one and that fixed that. by the time it got really cold, one of the motorists i entertain gifted me a hunting jacket with a hood and i started overheating a little bit from the dancing.

okay, i will admit that if nobody had been around to give something for insulation, i would have gone to the bus stop to go home and not back to work.

i'll bet you live somewhere it never blizzards, too. most you ever see is maybe 2 inches isn't it?

i really don't know anything about the climate of maine and to be honest i have so much more important stuff on my mind, i just felt like a little rant about weather wimps might make me feel better.

it did. thanks for the opening. sorry to have offended rather than amused.

go check this out and start a thread about it if you like so we can discuss the forum cyberbullying issue here. that isn't even the most important thing on my plate right now. on the forums, that would be the food safety modernization act.

i am vigorously opposed to the formation of a whole new agency for the sole purpose of enforcing laws that haven't even been written yet and i'm deeply concerned about the impact on smaller food processing concerns because of the cost of compliance and the possibility of regulatory intrusion into private family gardens.

when you read it you will see that it is my opinion that of all the forums i've participated in that were initiated after year 2000, offtopic is the best for the serious, wild and woolly and this is the best for laid back and casual. i would like to know if offtopicz is a spin-off from offtopic. if it is, it will make an excellent contrast to what's happening at thoughts and it's spin-offs that just formed in the past few months because of the format change pissing off most of the bullies and their sycophants.

it's been quite a saga there for quite some time, long before i joined last june.

That's an interesting topic. Not that we have any of it here. Why not start a thread on that?
