I have to agree, when it think Biscuit I think Hard, if it's soft I just think of it as more of a bread roll :dunno
Cookies are a type of biscuit. Biscuits are hard and nice. Especially bourbons.

I might always refer to them as that. Though they aren't wafers, they're biscuits.

pastry is made from water and flour and salt.... bread is made with yeast.... pastry doesnt usually rise.
