And I love it. Seriously, I love the cold weather, sure you sometimes have to put the heating on, but I prefer this to say...rain, which is just horrible.

In my opinion, it's not cold here yet. (Obviously you're further north)

Somebody flipped a switch last night. Brr!!!
It was very cold over the weekend, something like mid 20s to low 30s. Luckily, it's been warmer this week, in the high 30s, low 40s.
i'm getting some beers in soon,they're going outside instead of in the fridge

Supposed to be snowing here, just more slushy rain....
I'm sooo glad we haven't got any snow yet. Ok well i lied it snowed back in October but it didn't stick.

I love the snow until the novalty wears off. Then i just want it gone.
Snow is cool for about five minutes. You know, before anyone goes outside and makes footprints and it's all white and smooth and pure. After that, it's just a mess. And it's only pretty before it's a mess. So if it could just disappear after I've had the chance to ooh and ahh a bit, then I'd be content to see it every day.
-8 lastnight, 10 is our high for the day, today. Won't be above freezing till Saturday so says the weather man.

i don't know which is worse. here in texas all they do is gripe about the weather. too hot, too cold, too wet, too dry. jeez. move if you don't like it, turkey.
then you've got all these folks living somewhere where there's almost never any kind of extreme weather rubbing their weather in everybody else's faces.
i have to be careful of that here in austin most times of year. i'm a chicago native, so the austin winters are laughable. barely qualify as winter. i haven't been outside yet today, but it looks like it's around 80.
they call a dip to 25 overnight a hard freeze around here. what a joke. by nine in the morning, any snow or ice that happened has melted. some winters back home, it would freeze hard by mid-november and not melt until late march.
it's the summers that'll git ya here! after four straight years of drought, i decided if we had another one, i was moving back north. i can handle extreme cold much better than extreme heat.
well, we had a mild, wet summer this year so i killed that ridiculous idea.
It's cold here too. I am not a fan of the cold.

Sure saves some extra space for other things . I remember when we're in the Midwest and we have party at home- there was no need for extra ice on the cooler during winter time
