I use it all the time talking to women or men hell even my kids get a "hey dude" occasionally lol

I had to smile.... an American accent. I don't believe I have an accent. I mean.... I just talk and it sounds totally natural to me.

As far as the word Dude..... I say Man..... or Yo.... and depending on a movie influence at the moment... it could be just about anything.

How about Yo Yo man. that's got a certain ring to it.


Buddy and budette' is a word I use a lot especially when I forget a persons name. It works.

When I forget a person's name.... I just look at them until I get their attention and then start to talk. If they don't look my way..... then I just sort of tap on their shoulder or something and when they turn my way.... I say HI!

I have no trouble remembering a face or other body parts but names I ain't no good at.
