This used to happen to me a lot on FB but after i wrote them they fixed it. I haven't had problems with it for about 2 weeks. FB was working great then...:(

It's showing that I have notifications that I don't have. I've read all of them. It's just my luck for it to come back! The notification red pop up just won't go away! *shrugs*
 
yea it takes its time going away. sometimes if you just click on it and leave it open a bit, it should to it. if not, then click on the "check all notifications" and it should go away. OR after all that and it still doesnt, refresh the page and it should do the trick.

most of the time, it goes away instantly if i hover over the blue box that appears at the lower left hand corner telling me what notification i just recieved

thats why you have it set to get notifications in your email! i always check my emails first before going to FB so i know what i have and who said what so i dont have to go through all notifications once on FB. so much easier!!

I would do that but I would have WAY too much email to go through then! I get a ton of notifications depending on how busy I am on FB and wouldn't want to have to sift through emails for FB notifications. :willy_nilly:

i dont go through them after ive already been on FB cause while on, i already know which ones ive gotten and read. so when i go to email, i just delete them without reading cause i already know what they all say. easy peasy!

BEFORE i get on FB, i check email notifications. read eachone and see which are important enough to look at and respond and which ones i dont even have to click on once im ON FB.

if i get new notifications while im already ON FB, there's no need to check each notification in my email cause i recieved them and already read them/responded to them. so i just go to email and delete inbox
