As soon as I hit 40 I was holding things AWAY from me so I could read them.
Now..I cant read at all without my glasses, but my long range vision is excellent

Mum wears glasses all the time not just for reading and well when she reads she puts them on her head and squints at the page... i dont get it but she rekons she can see better that way
It sometimes just sucks getting old.
I used to be able to see very fine small detail.
Now I need bifocals and sometimes a magnifying glass to work on circuit boards and such.
Just shoot me now before it gets worse.

Yeah I'm the same way. I was fine up til I hit my very late 30's then I had to have bifocals...
