I've Posted This more Than Once

Satellite disks can be really bothered by weather Dana. Just wait until you have a major blizzard and the dish gets covered with snow. You'll have two options.... 1 - go outside and brush it off 2 - wait until spring for it to melt.

I used to use a bloom attached to a very long stick. It beat the hell out of climbing on the roof in cold weather.

what all of you are forgetting is that when cable/pay television came out...the reason you paid for it was so you didnt have to watch commercials...and now your paying for more commercials than before plus 500 channels of absolute mind garbage......funny how the educational channels,..discovery, the learning channel etc are all on basic (or they used to be)
tv used to be free,..like radio...imagine that.............suckers

There are other reasons why cable is preferable to satellite, one being that kids will practice rugby and football in close vicinity to satellite dishes. As my father would no doubt testament to.

they arent even educational anymore. I don't call reality tv about midgets, morbidly obese, and families who don't know when to stop reproducing educational.
