Spain is an Interesting Country

Personally I think if women and men want to sell their bodies for sex, then the least the govenment could do is to legalise it. Stop the trafficking, stop the rape of prostitutes, stop underage prostitution, stop people being pimped, stop the violence and clean the whole industry up and make it safe for those who want to do it and for those who want to visit them.

don't you think this will encourage children when they grow up to into prostitutions? And who would want that? Surely not you?
Picking up garbage is legal, but I don't see any kids are encouraged to be garbagemen when they grow up.

I don't get your point, people shouldn't need to use prostitutes. The thing is they can get themselves checked up without anyone being judgemental on them, for free. They're the ones who want to go to prostitutes, if you think it is a 'victimless' crime
Who is the victim, then?

Don't you think that being trafficked into prostitution is not a person who is a victim?

Picking up garbage? What has this to do with this? Being a garbage is a dirty stinky job, in actual fact in this country, we have a waiting list, we have people who have degrees in education who are garbagemen, irrelevant argument

A women who is FORCED into prostitution against her will is a victim, a women willingly choosing to sell her body is not a victim whatsoever, and who's to say a person who has a degree in education can't be a prostitute? If they are not morally against the act of prostitution the could choose to go into that rather than Education if they can make more money.

There you go, so isn't exactly a victimless crime, there are women who are trafficked into countries forced to prostitutes because it is either that or their family gets the consequences if they don't prostitute themselves

Prostitution is not "trafficking" a person into prostitution. They are two separate things. Who is the victim in a transaction between a prostitute and his/her customer?

You implied that making prostitution legal might encourage children to want to be prostitutes. I was simply pointing out that making a job legal doesn't necessarily make it desirable. BTW, I'll bet prostitution can be a dirty stinky job, too.

#1 point did I say prostitution was 'trafficking'? I did not, I said that people are being trafficked for the sake of prostitution.

You implied that there were no rush to get a job as a garbage men just because picking up litter was legal, there is like a 5 years waiting list for the said job

Yes, but people can be FORCED to do anything, the fact that some women are forced into prostitution doesn't make prostitution a bad thing, the PEOPLE forcing them to do something they don't want to do is a bad thing, I could force someone at gun point to watch television, does that make watching television a bad thing?

I see your point, but that doesn't mean making it legal is going to make it 'safer' for both client and prostitutes, because no condom in the world is 100% safe. All the health checks wouldn't spot new diseases that have either grown immune or mutated into new diseases

It will not make it 100% but it will make it much SAFER than it is now, for a number of reasons, not even just for diseases, the Women would be employed by the government and not under the control of some vicious pimp, an men who try to stiff them out of their pay would be punished by law, it would all around just be better, prostitution obviously isn't going anywhere because it's illegal, the government may as well make it safer for everyone involved and make some profit off of it at the same time by legalizing and taxing it, IMHO.

Then you did not answer my question, and I apologize for inferring you had. Who is the victim in a transaction between a prostitute and his/her customer?
