I really don't get why people seem to hate baseball so much as to celebrate when it's over

I think because it is 10 months out of the year. I grew up watching baseball now you could not tie me in a chair and make me watch a game. I grew real weary of the minute by minute updates of baseball on College Football Saturday. Don't care who wins at baseball anymore.
Of course I feel the same way about neck-car. Don't care about points or junior or jimmy or kyle or whoever.
Five months of the regular season, and just about a month of playoffs.
Just slightly longer than college football and the NFL.
For some odd reason I went for the Rangers.. Actually kinda bummed they lost... And now I got to wait FOREVER for my Sox to finally pull there thumb out there butts and do good next year.. COME ON RED SOX!! Stop playing like a bunch of teenage girls and make me proud!!!!

They start talking spring baseball in Feb & March. Remember where I live. We have heard this is Bobby Cox last year for over a year. My only response was at least 10 years too late. Truthfully the games are way too long and it is laboriously slow.
I feel the same way about the NBA they play 85 games and ellimnate 6 teams and start the play-offs.

Average length of an NFL game is just under three hours, while the average length of a NFL of CFB game is right around three hours as well, or longer depending on injuries, time outs, instant replay reviews, etc.
I do understand just simply not liking a sport though. Well, I don't hate College Basketball, I just hate the fact that it takes over television and the media every single March.

I love March Madness for those three weeks.
For me baseball is just not fun to watch.:
Pitcher has the ball roughs it up looks to the catcher for the sign. Several gesticulations later they settle on a pitch. Batter steps out of the box. Pitcher shakes off more signs. Throws to first to hold the runner. Ball back to the pitcher. He scratches his balls, spits looks to the catcher and nods. Winds & pitches. Ball 0ne. Start over more scratching more roughing more spitting rinse lather rinse repeat. I dozed off three minutes ago.
I can see why you wouldn't like that. I just think that March Madness drags on so damn long, and a lot of the TV shows I watch are on CBS, so they get pre-empted... plus other shows don't even bother showing new episodes during that time since the country is obsessed with CBB during those three weeks.
