I have not been able to get a shot of one that I know of but the more I look at these the more I suspect it might be. Sometimes it's so hard to tell different species apart. I might post the shots at a different site I go too just to get the " experts " opinion.Dang! I like golden eagles.

I Googled both (golden and juvenile bald eagles) and I couldn't decide which one yours were. I think the golden eagles have a bit of a lighter (golden) head than the one in your pics but I dunno...hard to tell.I have not been able to get a shot of one that I know of but the more I look at these the more I suspect it might be. Sometimes it's so hard to tell different species apart. I might post the shots at a different site I go too just to get the " experts " opinion.
