Question about a camera...

We are thinking about get a new camera... This is the one I am looking at right now...

We don't have a huge budget..... and this one fits... so what do you think?

Ok so we have that nailed down... sorta. Now lets get to the meat and potatoes.

- Are you expecting to be able to change lens's down the road?
- Is your intention to shoot basically what you do now or are you expecting to expand your horizons?

That would be a plus but not necessary.....

Expand my horizons... I want to do more with photos...

I have seen some nice shots with the camera I pointed out at Steves. If you watch Best Buy & Future Shop you can get 'em on sale. I imagine the prices might even be better around Xmas.

In the end it's always a matter of personal preference and being a Canon person that's what I recommend. It doesn't mean I'm right by any means but one thing I know. I would shoot with one if I got it as a gift. I recommended one to a lawyer to buy as a gift for his wife and from what I heard she is happy with it... but if you get one and don't like it both Best Buy & Future Shop have great hassle free return policies.

I like Cannon myself. It was just this one is a good deal that's all.. But I don't have the cash in my hands right now so I will be waiting a bit... If moms house sells... I will get a really nice one LOL...
