Religion is not the cause of conflict. Greed and intolerance are. Greed is a difficult problem to solve with or without religion. But there is no need for intolerance. Monotheistic religions tend to breed intolerance. But they don't have to.

I'd like to imagine a world without organized religions in it, period.

I am tired of religions warring each other over whomever's God has the biggest - is the most powerful.

That might be a misinterpretation. My religion studies teacher last year told me that Adam and Eve were the first man and woman, but they weren't the only two on Earth at that time, there were more people on Earth, just not mentioned lol. So Adam and Eve is only 'one story'.

Eve was Adam's second wife, his first wife being Lilith who left becuase she didn't want to be subservient to Adam, which is why Eve was made from Adam's rib (Lilith was created at the same time in the same way to Adam so was his equal which is why she didn't want to subservient). I think Lilith then went on to mate with a fallen angel which is why she can never return to the Garden of Eden if my mythology is right.

There is also a Hebrew tradition of putting an amulet around baby boys necks before they are circumsized so that Lilith won't steal them away.

A world without Islam would be a world without extremist Muslim terrorists. Definitely a good thing. But there would always be some other group out there, whether religious in nature or not, that would take their place.
