...taking great pains to ensure any ladybirds (ladybugs for those over the other side of the pond) caught on the cuttings made it to freedom rather than confined in a big plastic rubbish bag.

I managed to give about 6 or 7 the great escape and then I had to drive to meet a friend.

As I was doing so, I felt something crawling up my leg above my knee...

Wtih a reflex action, I squeezed and a slight brown patch appeared in my denim jeans.

Spider I thought. I had to keep driving and eventually when I got out and shook my leg, you can guess what it was.

I guess nature decided 8 free ladybirds were too many :nod:

I am not a fan of spiders. I found a black widow in my boat the other day when I was loading it to go fishing. Needless to say we had a parting of ways with her being departed.

started to clean some weeds out of the garden yesterday and i don't even bother to see what goes in the plastic bag :D

Lucky it wasnt a spider, imagine it decided to bite you before you squished it?

Ooooh thats right its only our country that has the deadly ones... nvm carry on lol
