My best friend in childhood was a girl named, *M*. We were inseparable since the 3rd grade even though she lived in another town and attended another (private) school. Our families knew one another quite well.

I consider myself extremely fortunate that *M* and I still share the close bond she and I created together almost 30 years ago.

She's married now, has a decent job, has 3 beautiful little girls and lives in the same town she was born and raised in.

That's so awesome! Do you still get to see each other?

A guy called Darren. I dont have anything to do with him now though as he tried it on with my missus, I warned him off so he went and tried it on again.

A girl called Cassie. She moved away when I was 11. We wrote and phoned each other for about 2 years then lost contact.

Though about a year ago, we found each other on facebook.

When I go back home we get together a few times.

She just recently flew over here (they were going to Italy for 3 weeks) and came by for a long weekend with us.

It's odd, because even though we don't speak on a daily basis, we always seem to, 'pick up where we left off' when we do talk / see each other - as if there was never any space between us.:)

I'd have to say of the girls near my house but then we went our sepreate ways. Now my best-friend lives on the other side of the city.

I am still connected with my friend whom I called "best friend" when I was a third grader. I also have a close connection with my "best friend" since 7th grader.
