I know of a few.

Hapoel Tel Aviv knocked Chelsea out of the UEFA cup in....I want to say 2002, it was around that era. Twente are from Holland and I think are managed by Steve McClaren, former England manager. Rubin Kazan beat Barcelona at Camp Nou in last season's Champions league. Auxerre are French and Europa League regulars. Cluj faced Chelsea a couple of seasons back in the Champions League. Partizan once knocked Newcastle out of the Champions League, 2003 I think.

I like the look of our group. Valencia could be tricky but aren't the team they were, we'll hammer Rangers out of sight and should beat the Turks, although the away game is always a ****.

Probably, but only my statement is true. Not completely their fault, they had to sell David's Villa and Silva this summer for debts to be paid.
