a bit of success there:thumbup:clap

We want another Cup run now, meeting Chelseas in the semi's a few years ago I missed, but I saw us run Liverpool to the wire in 2001 semi-final. Those are the best moments.

Some stats from the Opta Twitter page.

14 - Man Utd have now equalled Newcastle's Premier League record of 14 successive home wins. Streak.

6 - Chelsea have just 6 points from 6 PL games v Man Utd, Arsenal & Liverpool this season after getting a maximum 18 in 09-10. Decline.

1 - Frank Lampard's goal is his first at Old Trafford in the Premier League since January 1999 (for West Ham). Rarity.

3 - S Kalou hit 3 shots on target in the 1st half v Man Utd, as many or more than four PL teams managed in 90 mins yesterday. Frustration.

0:36 - The last player to score a PL goal faster than Javier Hernandez v Chelsea is S Sidwell for Villa v Everton in Dec 08 (0:33). Rapid.

18 - Man Utd have now scored 18 headed goals in the Premier League this season, more than any other team. Domineering.

1 - No opposition player has scored a first half goal at Old Trafford in the PL since Joe Cole did so for Chelsea last April. Fortress.

50% - Half of Stoke's 44 goals this season have come from set-pieces, the highest proportion in the Premier League. Strength.

0-3 Things are really looking good for next season. Yup, we had a good record against Fulham, but in reality records don't count for nowt on the day

Jesus a Women's Champions League final now. Is there anything they don't steal from the men's game?

If you saw this scoreine you'd assume thrilling game but it hasn't been really (unless you're a Liverpool fan) and it's equally to do with Liverpool being very good and Fulham just being plain horrendous. They've played better in this second half but it's not saying much.

Also, have Liverpool really got a song to the Heartbeat tune?

Four players who I reckon will not be playing for Liverpool next

Woy's buys
Mereiles - despite playing good under Dalglish
Cole - enough said about his appearances
Poulsen - Didn't even feature much Hodgson

Benitez
Kyrgiakos - probably the worse defender in the biz
Ngog - another who hasn't featured much under Dalglish
Jovanović - not played enough

Meireles isn't such a bad player, I'd personally keep him, though saying that Jay Spearing is a better prospect. Cole's been pretty woeful, has been for ages really. Haven't seen too much of Poulsen. Kyriakos is, was, and will always be awful. N'gog is the sort of striker you'd play in the dead rubber European games or cup games against division two sides, certainly not good enough for the Premier League. Haven't seen much of Jovanovic to be honest either.

Jovanovic is injured, but he wasn't playing much before, true about N'gog. Meireles, I personally think he is good for a swap or just a good deal of money

I admit when I first saw Spearing I didn't think he was up to the task. But the last few times I've seen him he's passed the ball with a rapidity and purpose that really impressed me.
