It took him a long time to get Fuzzy the rat down but it was cool watching him eat it. I've seen him shed too and that's cool to watch as well!I do find it fascinating to watch snakes eat animals. And when they shed their skin.
Lucipher thought so LOL! :24:sweeeeeeeeeet
Yeah he struck at it as soon as we tossed Fuzzy in the crate! It was awesome to watch. But it took him a long time to get it down. And for being such a big rat he really didn't bubble up as much as I thought he would. He's quite content now digesting Fuzzy in his aqaurium...Looks like he enjoyed it. Snakes eating things is an art form.
Nope he won't eat dead rats. We went to Petsmart and picked out the biggest Rat they had. They stuck him in a box and as soon as we dropped Fuzzy in the crate he squeezed him til he died which took a while then he started to suck him down. The video I can't figure out how to brighten up.was the rat already dead?
He doesn't regurgitate the bones. He might crap out a big fuzzball but that's about it...interesting...how long before he regurgitates the bones?
Thanks Zirc! Sorry I couldn't get a better video for you. That is infinitely cool! :thumbup
Better luck next time! Thanks Zirc! Sorry I couldn't get a better video for you.![]()
I should have taken the video with my camera instead but it won't hold that long of a video. I didn't want to feed him outside just in case he got loose you know?Better luck next time!![]()
 They can dislocate their jaw when swallowing large prey. Are snakes jaw bones like nearly disconnected to their skulls because that seems to me the only logical way that they can eat things that big.
Makes sense. They can dislocate their jaw when swallowing large prey.
Yeah their jaw bones disconnect and are hinged...Are snakes jaw bones like nearly disconnected to their skulls because that seems to me the only logical way that they can eat things that big.
