Re: NFL season

I would to if I had Chad Henne :ninja

I disliked Brady long before we ever got Henne. :p What I find amusing is Jets fans that make fun of Henne... when you look at the stats, he's a better QB than Sanchez, with far fewer weapons around him. :24: Fortunately there will be plenty of potential franchise QBs available in the draft this year if Henne continues to suck.

Sanchez is overrated BIG time. Do you think reggie is the answear at HB ? I don't know he is like a nice car that only gets drivin acouple times a year. I liked Ronnie Brow and Ricky. Wildcat !

I agree about Sanchez. He's a little guy holding a big gun, basically. He has a lot of help.
Nothing against him, really, just sayin'.

What do you guys think about Detriot over Tampa in week one ? I think Tamps was smoke in mirrors last year. Detriot is for real.

Reggie isn't the answer as an every down back... but I think he could work very well in Miami as a change of pace back, motion him out of the backfield into a slot receiver role, and give us better options with screen passes than we've had in a long time. Ronnie and Ricky were okay receivers, but Reggie is a lot better than the both of them, and has a much better ability to get to the corner faster and make people miss. I think we'll see him get 10-15 rushes a game, and probably a lot of downs as a receiver or decoy. Daniel Thomas will probably get about 15-20 carries a game, and Larry Johnson will get whatever is left over assuming his body holds up.

Reggie can be an electric player if he's used correctly... now that he doesn't seem to shy away from contact as much as he did in his first few years. He and Darren McFadden actually have very similar skillsets... and I think we'll see Reggie have his best season this year.

I honestly think that Tampa is the real thing... Freeman is a legit QB and they have a lot of younger talent. Detroit is in a similar boat though, it's something of a toss-up for me... I went with Tampa simply because I think their offense is more dynamic.

Don't know much about Tampa but I would say Detroit has a more dynamic offense with a better QB.

Stafford is the real deal. He just has to have better pocket presence to not get hurt. He might have the best as in strongest arm in the league

he just needs to have better pocket presence. He got smoked twice that would hurt anybody. The other time he IMO was not fully healed and re injured his shoulder.

Stafford had the perfect fail storm for his first two years, basically. He had no protection, and once you get hurt, you're prone to injury again...he has to really lay it all out there and step up or he will never be anything in the NFL. That would be a shame, really.

Healthy stafford playing 16 games throwing to Calvin Johnson
Plus Suh on defence with vanden thingy

Play off a real prospect
I cheer for the Bears and have seen a lot of losing Lions teams but this year if the above holds true they coul challenge for a play off the fans deserve as much

Lol Vanden thingy. The Lions seem to know how to screw up a good thing, but it will be interesting. They could do very well. I'm not a fan, and their fans have always annoyed me, but it's good for football for this team to do great this season.
