Obama's Message: Things Could Be Worse

Looks like I am the news messenger for you guys.
(WASHINGTON) — President Barack Obama, who rocketed to the White House promising "change you can believe in," is now telling voters they shouldn't change a thing.
His message for the fall elections, which are looking ominous for his Democrats, is that Republicans caused the nation's economic troubles, but he and the Democrats are starting to fix them. So stick with the Democrats and don't go back to the GOP. (See pictures of Barack Obama's family tree.)
"This is a choice between the policies that led us into the mess or the policies that are leading out of the mess," Obama said recently in Las Vegas.

Kelvin, I'd wager a guess that most of us here rely on sources other than yourself for our news.

Great insightful analysis though... kudos, impressive work.

On the subject at hand though... spinning is really all Obama can do right now. He made all kinds of promises that the stimulus was going to lower unemployment, create jobs, and restore the economy... and it hasn't done anything except make things worse. They see that the GOP is making big strides towards taking the House back at the very least, and their chances of taking over the Senate are getting stronger every day. When hard-core liberal states like California have one of their long-time Senators fighting for her political career against someone like Carly Fiorina, a political newcomer; you know your party is in trouble. Harry Reid is fighting for his career, and so are a number of fairly prominent Democrat lawmakers.

I don't think there's any question at this point whether or not the GOP takes the House back, it's a matter of how many seats will they get. The Senate is a toss up at this point... the next month or two will really tell the tale there.

Obama and the Democrats are running scared at this point. I'm expecting the next few months to be almost nothing but blaming Bush for things and claiming that we'd be worse off if McCain were President in a desperate attempt to keep power.

I wonder if I could get Kevin arrested for that avatar...

Hey Kevin, does your government keep tabs on your internet usage? Is it possible that you will get a late night visit from the Gestapo?
Nah, we are allies. They keep tab on everything here. Late night visit? Its much worse than that. I am being followed but who cares so long as am not into any crimnal activities.
