I took the shot this morning. I was driving around and on my way back home when I saw it at my neighbors driveway two farms away. He didn't waste any time leaving the area once he saw me so all I managed was the one shot from within my car.

I saw plenty of them when I was near Seattle for two weeks, I also saw woodpeckers as well

We have lots of deer and peckers. Whacking off a few shots of them seems to be quite difficult lately. I've been after a Pileated Woodpecker pair that live on this property. In 3 years I've managed a couple real crappy shots and that's it. It's a beautiful bird. We have other smaller peckers stealing seed from our feeders but they vamoose as soon as they see the camera.
