So.... if I send you some money, can I get the collection at a discount?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE OPI and all the wonderful colors, but it's damn near $10 a bottle! :( Not justifiable.

I'm back in You Don't Know Jacques. Again.

And my toes are Bronzed to Perfection, which I absolutely LOVE

They money you'd save would be wasted in shipping it to you :24:

But yea sure, I get 25% off on product, we sell ours for 8.50... makes them like 6.50 if I buy them at work, not sure how much I get if I buy them direct at a beauty supply store. I'll check if I get time today, I need new nippers.

I love those colors!

I decided I wanted some bold red fingernail polish so I stopped by Walgreens the other day and got some. Unfortunately I have found that my hand is not steady enough and I end up looking like I just murdered someone. :( I guess plain ol' clear or light pink for me.

Get some polish remover, a cheap thin paint brush, base coat, polish, and top coat

Apply the base coat over the nail & your cuticle (helps protect the skin from getting stained), apply polish a little bit at a time, slow smooth strokes (less strokes the better for even coverage) if you get any on the skin, use the paint brush (dipped in polish remover) to get it off immediately.

Wow. You know your stuff! Thank you. I will try that.

Another question: Does the base coat prevent the nail from getting stained too? I am not a fan of the pink tinted nails I have after I remove red nail polish. Or is that just something that comes along with it?

I'm a nail technician & massage therapist ;)

And yes, base coat protects the nail too, you should remove polish when it starts to chip though, can weaken the nail if left on too long. :)

When I get mine done I get acrylic...but I scrub underneath my nails A LOT when I have them. I don't grow my own out b/c they tend to bend back and I hate that.
