If you won the Lottery ?

So if you won the Lottery, I mean a BIG JACKPOT, what would you do with the money ?

Be greedy and use it for yourself or give a lot of it to charity ?

I'm sure we all have our different views of how to spend the money, but what's yours ?

I'd actually buy a couple of houses and rent them out to at least have some income.

Then I'd do stuff like buy loads of clothes, hi tech gadgets.

I always figured I would buy a small company and run it.. treat the employees well but still business wise..

Of course take a trip and buy some real estate..

First and foremost I would ensure that myself and all my siblings would never have to punch a clock again. Then I would buy a nice chunk of land in some remotish area and have a log house built. It would contain a photo studio and one of everything Canon makes.

First, we would pay off both our parents mortgages and give them $1m each to spend as they choose.

Second, we would pay off our mortgage & debt.

Third, full college tuition for each kid.

Fourth, buy an RV for OTz RoadTrip.

We would also redo our home. With the possibility of buying up each of our neighbors to make a 'compound' since we own the lakefront in front of them.... StickBoy & Roxi get a house as will MsButterfly...

We would also be doing quite a bit of traveling.

At some point I would like to start a horse camp for abused kids. But we're gonna chill for a year or two first.

That's all. Nothing hugely lavish....

Seriously tho..... There's not much out there I have a need to collect... Boats, cars, furs, jewelry..... Well, perhaps some jewelry.... I am a woman. Plus a souped up golf cart would be cool to get around town with. It has to go at least 55mph or I will get killed by the trucks around here...:willy_nilly:

Just some extra stuff to make us & our loved ones more comfy and some traveling....:cool

I would pay off all my debts, buy a custom built house to my liking, I want water on my property, be it a lake, ocean, river, something.

I'd get a whole lot of pound animals and staff to make sure they are all cared for and happy on a wonderful lands I have, I'd love to simply audit any classes I have a mind to, travel the world.....

This is one of my primary fantasies. I'd give $1m to each primary family member or if there is enough, it would be $2m each so they'd still have a million after taxes. Some of them would get it in a trust fund because I don't trust them to be responsible. I'd retire immediately from my current job. I'd make sure I had a house down South where it's warm and on the water and a house up North or in the mountains for the summers. I'd probably buy a convertible sports car to replace my 82 Fiat Spider (which is my current play car). I have all ready traveled a lot but there are places I still need to see. I'd consider some percentage for charity with the goal of at least a million. And most importantly I'd sit down with a financial adviser to make sure it was not all gone in 5 years...

I would first and foremost pay off debt and then put enough aside for my kids college + extra for their living expenses during it.

I would buy us a home in the country.

Help pay off my families debt and give them a nice chunk.

I would definitely donate to local charities that help families in times of need with their necessities.

I would put the rest into a high interest account and then use it as needed.

I doubt I would stop working, but who knows.
