Amazing but sad pictures.

Picture number thirty in Moonie's link was the most sad for me. It's the image of a disaster BP would have tried to avoid anyone seeing if they could have.

It's not so long ago in terms of years. I know an offshore oil rig is a different kettle of fish to an oil refinery but you'd have thought they would have learnt lessons in terms of maintenance, procedure and safety.

Well, perhaps when this hits the Gulf Stream and brings it all right to your backyard you'll open your eyes to the magnitude of what exactly is going on Dana.

I'm trying to have a bit of hope but I do believe the Gulf of Mexico is now completely fucked and will be fucked for decades to come.

It's almost a month of constant gushing into the water w/no reasonable clue in sight how to end it as all the suits sit there w/their thumbs up their asses pointing fingers and trying to avoid responsibility. ImagineFuckingThat.

again... there's NOTHING wrong with my food threads. I find posting a food thread every 3 to 4 hours is better than making 10 threads in a row over something no one can do anything about.
