I got tired of shooting Canada geese as well, seems like there are too much around

Even swans I got fed up shooting them, though the cygnets remain the ones that I love to photo (because there are so little of them around, lol)

I was at the lake to try and get a nice shot of a red-winged blackbird but they along with the sun wouldn't cooperate.

The only reason I took the shot was because I happened to be walking on a dock and for some reason he came directly at me. He wasn't pissed or anything and I was at the right level so I figured.. hey... you might as well take that shot". I must have hundreds of shots of them and someday I'm might make an attempt to weed out the junk. Lots of them are from my " getting back into photography days" and I can't believe what I did. It's quite comical actually.

The only good thing there are so many, it gives you a chance to a) learn how to photograph big birds if you haven't shot with any or just getting back into the groove, and b) experiment with photography

I know I talk nonsense sometimes, lol
