So did any of the Aussies here get up early to see their first world snooker champion for donkeys years? I stayed up till 1 in the morning to watch it, got to admit it wasn't one of the best finals I've ever seen, to put it mildly.

It seemed to drag in the final bit so to speak, Robertson missed easy pots and should have had it wrapped up way before he did. I stayed up to watch it, no skin off my nose seeing as I was up anyway and nothing important to do today, but it was an ok final. Lacked the epicness perhaps of a really thrilling final but was decent enough.

Billiards is a different game dude, this is snooker. And I agree, billiards is really boring to watch.

Different game but still a lot of similarities. I don't see what would make it more exciting to watch than 8 ball
Only real similarity billiards has to snooker is that it's played on the same table
