I haven't edited them??? I just pop my stick in my computer and upload them.

Then you can't be shooting in RAW mode. It's not a file format recognized by Windows operating system and has to be converted to jpeg or TIFF so you can view them. TIFF is recognized by Windows but they end up being files about 40mb or better so you wouldn't be able to upload those either and that's why they have to be converted to jpeg.

...I think they're awesome....I especially love the carnival one with the old dude and the lemonade sign....it is SO random, and reminds me of something I would see in a Nat Geo mag...

I resent that remark. I'm no snob. :mad I said I really liked the b & w shots. The more I loot at 'em the more I like them and it's hard to pick a fav. If I were to pick one it would be the gal sticking out of the pipe. There's something mysterious about that shot. I'm like.... " what the hell is that gals legs doing sticking out of that pipe. "

It doesn't look bad for someone who doesnt know anything about their camera :nod: I especially like the BW ones, theres something about black and white photos that add a significance to an otherwise meaningless thing.

I think my favorite is the last one in BW I just love it, and it was complete luck I saw it and snapped it and then loved it later.

The most fun were the carnival ones, but I was VERY disappointed in the focus and the sharpness, but it was my first time doing without flash at night on manual mode.

These are some film ones from a fair I went to. I did it all without flash which was a challenge. I scanned in the negatives. I tried to find some BW ones you guys could see because that is mostly what I print, but they are full of nude people...

I must say, I really fancy your photography style. I especially love this group from the carnival. I don't know if it is how you developed them or simply how you took them, but the color is amazing. I love the angles and different details you capture as well. A++ from me =)

i liked the 'woman' one too,for the lack of a better expression its 'real'

the only WB mode your ever gonna need is daylight flash and incandecent.. apart from that fix it in photoshop. i always shoot raw so when i open it opens rawshooter first which is really eay to colour correct. you could also use a grey cards which is even easier i love my grey car.. colour correct an entire photoshoot with one click

you also get some brilliant black mail worthy shots of people holding the grey card.. always fun.

cant find any with an actual grey card its all on my hard drive. this is more of a high-tech lastolite grey card which is entierly unnecessary


i love the colour quality on those colour negs... its soo retro!
