One of my favorite flowers. They have such a heavenly scent.

Did you all know that Lilac blooms with five petals are good luck charms? But only if you find them yourself and put it in your clothes.

When I was younger I used to have my bra full with five petal Lilac blooms when it was Lilac season

WhenI lived in PA I used to make my husband drive me down country roads to pick them from peoples houses. I knew every house within 5 miles of where we lived that had lilacs. They are hard to break off so make sure to bring something to cut the stems with. :ninja

The smell of Lilacs never get's old. Too bad they don't last very long.

They are GONE. Nearly all of the lilacs in my area had withered It is such a pity lilac season is so short

Lilacs are lovely. Nice pictures.

My other house had a huge lilac bush in the backyard. I'm thinking I'll have to plant several here now. Not sure why I waited so long to do so. I've got plenty of space and sunshine.

well there are several different flowers and trees and animals that DON'T grow in all places, but most mainstream things I guess have gotten so popular that they are shipped and cultivated everywhere.

My favorite flower that I saw in Europe and I've never seen here is Peonies!!! Tons and tons of them at the flower market in Paris - and NONE here. Least not that I've seen....
