Loving the Snooker Wold Championship at the moment. Great to see a shock win for veteran Steve Davis against defending world champion, John Higgins. 3 Essex men in the QFs so far! Essex really seems to be the hot bed of snooker!:thumbup

Gee hon I might be wrong but I'm thinking not too many are interested in these sports.....I luv pool/billiards tho, can u explain how snooker differs?

I thought billiards and pool were the same thing and billiards is just a fancy way of saying pool. I grew up playing pool so thats what I voted for.

I think billiards is the overall term for cue games. Or atleast some of them like snookers, pool, 8 ball...etc.

This should explain it all. Personally I prefer snooker, its a lot more tactical than pool and and billiards is a dying game, the standard of Snooker and the closeness of it right now, is awesome.

I prefer watching snooker, also enjoying the World Championships at the moment.

However playing wise I prefer pool because generally in the pubs I go in they have a pool table and it's a good laugh to play with mates etc.
