They keep delaying the start of my spiral into problem drinking.
I too thought the Wings were toast when SJ got that 3rd goal
Can not wait to see how tomorrows game goes. If SJ plays tentative like they did in the 3rd period they will not win.
I do believe it was Don Cherry that said a two goal lead is the most dangerous one in hockey. Although in the playoffs I read that this was the first time in like 80 years that a team gave up a 2 goal lead in the 3rd period.

if San Jose can't win at home....it may look possible...but then the Red Wings would really be the Dead Wings

They used to dominate games and give up a stupid goal and lose

The crowd has kind of sucked though

What a hell of a hockey game.
People are bashing Thornton pretty hard but all of the games have been close thanks to good goalies. I don't think he did anything wrong. The luck just swung in our favor lately.
Personally, I think Marleau is more useless than Thornton in the playoffs. I've never really been a fan of SJ's leadership in general. Great in the regular season but can't get 'er done in the playoffs.

LOL! Roenick always tells it like he sees it, though. And he's right. Marleau has absolutely no heart in the playoffs.
Luckily for SJ, Niemi does...and that's all they've needed.

The Wings tend to indicate their level of commitment pretty quickly; we could know by the first puck drop how ready they are to fight this out. UGGH I just want to see them getting those shots on goal like last night...even though Niemi stoned us over and over.
