I'm not crazy about the cold temperatures either, but this is where I live and you're supposed to get used to it...lol..I dont' think I ever will. Oh well....what's a girl to do..just ride it out and wait for spring to arrive.

I make the best of it...I sometimes ski and when the kids were young we would go for slay rides and such....and I do skate....but on a whole I'm not a winter person, summer means a lot more fun.

I used to travel up North and Central Pakistan during my younger days and would take trips around on a motor bike ... but now I rarely go there not only in winters but also in summers because weather is extreme!
Karachi being a maritime city has a moderate climate, brief winters and hot and humid summers for more than 8 months!
There used to be many cinemas here until mid 80's but now almost all of them have been shut or converted into
shopping plaza's due to risk of terrorism.... Cinemas used to be the main entertainment, next to sight seeing, here in those days!It has all changed now.....you leave your house in the morning and cannot sure you will be back home alive!
