Judging someone on their age alone is fairly stupid, I have found levels of maturity to be affected very little by age. A mature person would include everyone, even the ones they dislike, and have the self-control to ignore the so called 'less mature' people; instead of punishing them so unjustly like this.

I do agree with you Bri, but there are times in our lives when we just have to accept "what is"
and this is one of those instances that just is.
Your rep message to me is predominantly the reason why this thread exists imo.
It's not to single out one person and hurt their feelings, which would be unjust, it's to set an age limit so all the big kids can play.
Because in the end, we like to play to0, just on a different playing field.
I agree with you, some of you under 18ers can be very mature. But therein lies the problem, once you break the rules for one, then others will expect the rules to broken for them. In that case it just ends up being like the other random chat thread.
It's not to punish you as you think\feel.
A good way to think about how things have gone, from my understanding, this is an Adult forum, but yet the need for a thread like this exists. It's really a head scratcher.

If people want an adult only forum they can go to one, the whole point of my post is: you can punish several people for one person, or you can ignore that one person and be fair. Or you can do this thread and take the time to post in the other one too.

The only real difference between this thread and the other one is a certain member isn't allowed to post in this one (and yes, you all know who I am talking about) so if you guys would just ignore that member or put her on ignore, there would be no reason for this thread.

No thanks. I don't like excluding people for the sake of excluding them. In fact, when these people came to speak to us about school shootings and bullying, they said that exclusion was a form of bullying; I agree, that's completely true.
