In 1970 I owned the Chev panel version of this truck. It was a dream come true for a hard living, hard drinking 17 year old. :D If only I owned it today. What stories it could tell.

Anywhoo, this is for sale just down the road from me and I'm very skeered to stop and talk to the owner, whom I know, cuz if I did I just might buy it.

So have you found out any more info on it?

It is a beautiful truck.
No and I don't think I will for fear of what stupidity might overcome me. I always had a passion for old Chev's and GMC's...especially trucks. Now if it was red I might be a bit more inclined to pursue it. Not that I really don't like the color but it just doesn't grab me like a candy apple red or metallic green w/flecks of navy blue, sliver and gold one would.

I think you should at least get some information about it! You might regret it later.

If my wife heard you saying that she would slap you so hard you'd think you were surrounded.

Haha. Well nevermind then. I just know I had the opportunity to buy an old school Mustang once and I didn't even pursue it. I have regretted it ever since.

Buy it ya cheap fuck :D
My sister rents a house from the trucks owner. I've been thinking of calling her and to secretly extract some info without actually calling the owner. Even at that I'm too skeered to do it cuz I might just make the guy a deal.

I know the owner. He's a local businessman in our little village. He used to come to the car lot I sold at and was always showing off his iron. He has a pile of old cars and isn't much of a wheeler dealer. He's mega rich and just pisses around buying stuff, driving it for a while and then selling it to buy something else. Must be nice.

That reminds me of the truck my karate teacher gave me after I got my ass kicked a few times then painted his house and shit and did wax on wax off and won the All Valley invitational.
