It's is divine. The signature dish at my restaurant is little balls of goat cheese fried in honey-tempura batter and drizzled with more honey and cracked black pepper.

Little mouth orgasms is how I frequently hear them described.

The fried grren tomatoes would be with a red pepper puree and peach salsa. Also makes a great sandwich with a little goat cheese spread on the bread.

mmmm.....!!!!!!

came. :D

so uh is the goat cheese rennet free??

Stimultaneously....is that how you spell it?

and I was doing my Meg Ryan impression.....couldnt you tell:(

it was lovely - but don't tell tangerine - i don't think he knows you were faking it....;)

Well the goat cheese part won't be free, so I don't see how she could give it to you that way ;)

bri that doesn't make any sense - i was asking if the goat cheese has rennet in it. rennet is ground up stomach. not all cheese has that :p

It's been a long time since I've made two women come at the same time.

oh baby...we can try for three...just don't read up ok? :D

But goat cheese does? And people were trying to get me to eat it?

Oh my god...

uhm....most cheese has it...sorry :(

people have no idea what's actually in food...

Most rennet is a by product (spelling?) of veal too. So if are opposed to eating baby cows in the form of veal, then you should be opposed to most cheeses - especially ones like Kraft.

I'm not opposed to eating any one particular animal. I eat baby deer. It's just certain parts of those animals that kind of make me feel queasy. Stomachs are on that list. So are tongues and feet.

And don't say anything about bologna or hot dogs. I don't want to know.

Gotcha ;)

I am not a PETA activist or anything, I am just trying to be a vegetarian for a year so I am learning all kinds of shit.

And don't worry - the stomach is ground up and is in the cheese in such small quantities that I am sure it barely counts...except it does for me :(

i miss cheese.

I tried being a vegetarian once. Lasted for about five days, which is really good for me. I admire you for being able to stick with it.

Besides cheese, did you have a difficult time changing your diet? Have you found it healthier?
