L.O.V.E this poem "Truths"

[Goat Whisperer]

I finally managed to write something that I feel is deeper and something people will see in different ways... enjoy!





Truths

Does that evil person deserve such abuse?
They are still human true?
They murdered, raped, caused abuse
And yet how different are they from you?

They we’re caused pain in youth
Or they had a mental defect
But their soul sees wrong, sees truth
Their soul still deserves some respect

We throw them behind bars
Abuse, torment, torture, and kill
Create more pain, evil, and scars
Why don’t we remember, they are human still

They are dangerous, but it isn’t their fault
They should be separated, safe and away
But they never deserve extra abuse or assault
No one deserves to be hurt, to be left to decay

We treat each other so different
Yet, we are all brothers, sisters, and friends
We cause so much torment
Yet, we are all the same in the end

You don't know who has hurt me or my family...

I've always felt this way, I feel horrible for people in prison, I know they've done terrible things and I know that there are people out their who had the same impulses and resisted them, but still, it depends on the person, they way they were brought up, and their genes, things they can't control. They deserved to be treated humanely. They deserve consequences... to be taken out of society, but they don't deserve to be killed, abused, or tormented.

Of course they should be tried for what they did. But abused by officers in prison? Allowed to be raped? No, definitely not. And they are.

I think she was justifying her being high not taking a dig at yr work? I mean, she did say it was good in her first post. Think shes just getting a lil defensive over the pot.
