I'm putting this here in hopes of getting more responses.

I have a week left before my period pills. My pills are going to run upwards of $200 with out insurance, and I really don't want to switch kinds out of fear of being hormonally imbalanced and possibly psychotic (like with my other pills).

Does anyone know of any places, maybe like Planned Parenthood, that would give them to me way cheap? Or do they only give out certain types?

I'm on Seasonique, if that helps...

$200??? Fuck sake! Why dont you just buy condoms if that's the case, you can buy then in bulk for less than a quid each?

Because if I don't have premeasured hormones coming into my body, I'm a fucking psycho. I get hormonal easily, and this helps a lot. If you can go back far enough, you can find posts where you can almost tell when I switched kinds and then when I finally got on this kind.

I don't think there's a Meyers around here.

there are tons of health clinics and stuff in my area - you just have to find one in yours

our city health unit (where they give vaccinations, etc.) also sells birth control - most brands are about $50 a month.

Have you talked to your doctor about the generic of seasonale? It's a slightly different version of seasonique and there is a generic version of the seasonale which will run about $40 for the 90 day prescription.

I found seasonale on the canada site and it was 120 v 180. I need to go back to that poor clinic and see what I can get. I know at school I had to have a pelvic to get a prescription. I hope I don't here...
