I don't have anything to say in regards to it, but I don't understand why that should mean people get to take shots at her because they dont' think her family problems are important.

First off, in what world does that make any sense? Secondly, on every other forum I've ever been on, the type of treatment Jess has received in this thread would be a violation of a number of different rules. These sections of forums should be free from attacks and instead be focused on the issue(s) at hand. I just don't understand why people feel the need to treat her like shit because they don't like her because she's a kid.

it's not the ant problem.....my dad nearly damaged one of my brother's most prized possession.....I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw him with it in his hand...I just couldn't keep it in my mind...I just wanted to share it............

and you should share it and vent... there's no reason why people need to treat you in the manner that you do. It sucks that they're so unhappy in their own lives that they have to take it out on you because you're an easy target for them.

Have you considered talking to a school counselor or anything like that about the issues that you see going on at home in regards to your dad. Or sought out advice from anyone?

I most certainly don't have a guilty conscience and I see what you are attempting to do there. You quoted my post and then made your comment. How else am I to take my suggestion she go check out those other boards, because it was clear I didn't think she should continue making those posts here?

They are better equipped to relate to her.
