Wow!

Andy of Mayberry is on now! It's in black and white. What a SWEET show!! Does anybody remember watching this? I love Aunt Bee, Opie, Andy, Goober (is that his name??) and Barney Fife is my favorite.
It's so...wholesome.

I watched that show from nearly its beginning.

Gomer was Gomer Pyle. They spun a show off on him being in the marines. If you liked Andy you would like Gomer.

Goober was also on the show. He kind of took over for Gomer at a later date when Jim Nabors got his Gomer Pyle show. I think they were related on the show.

Although it is wholesome there are parts which did not fit with the deep South in that period.
The timeless parts are the life lessons which are really good.
