I think I have SWINE FLU!!!!

Omg this sucks. Last night I started to get a sore throat, about an hour later it was unbearable and I got diarrhea. I went to sleep and woke up with a worse sore throat, a bad tummy ache, and a bad head ache.

The funny part is, just the day before yesterday I said a speech in my debate class about swine flu and the next day I got it

What makes you think it's H1N1? It could be the regular seasonal flu.

Because there are more chances of it being swine flu, since I have no immunity built up to it. And it's been sweeping through my school.

Heard last night on the news, they have downgraded the seriousness of the H1N1, it will kill less than regular flu which accounts for around 50,000 annually. In your age group (below 18) the forecast 3-6 thousand deaths worldwide from H1N1.

H1NI is like the regular flu, chances of getting it are slimmer to none.

Not true at all. We have almost no immunity built up to it. The regular flu strain has been around for a while, so we have all been exposed, and we all have some immunity to it. But the swine flu is new and so if we are exposed to it, we have no immunity, and it is likely we will get sick.

I hope you don't get the coughs like i did when I had it.. still have the coughs for that matter and far as I know I'm over the stuff lol.. make sure to get urself to the doctor if symptoms get to be too much.. all they do is swap your nose and run tests so its no big d. lots of luck and love hunn!

I'm pretty certain it is a flu because I am starting to get really, really sore. But still no cough, so I'm not sure.

No doctor, I might call and ask him tomorrow, but no reason to go there and be told to come back if the symptoms get worse, which is all they will do.
