He is a wedding photographer for famous people, personal friend of the Kennedy Family and Elton John and The Schwarzenagers...however you spell it.

Anyways, he is from Crowley, LA which is very near here - I was there the other day for the rice festival. He graduated from UL and he is Alumni of the year or some shit. Can you tell how impressed I am by him? :cool

Anyways, his entire TWO hour spiel to us was comparing him to Whole Foods organic produce. He says his clients prefer the real thing, and not fake. So he takes photos that are not posed.

They are very good photos, but he treated us like we were idiots, and his concept was dumb.

I did learn some good things although not sure I will be able to use them as I don't have $8,000 camera given to me by my sponsor Canon.

I understand where he's coming from. I hate shooting pics of people unless they are candid shots. That's kinda why I'll never do a wedding again. Then again I just might cuz the one and only one I ever did made me some big dough. Cash type dough, not your last name kinda dough.

ps: I looked at his portfolio and wasn't that impressed. In the eyes of a people shooter they must be good I suppose.

I would like to see him shoot the seedier side of life. Like in some run down decrepid area of a major city. That kind of stuff gets my attention.

i think he is hired just because it is the thing to do.
